Henry had his 4 month check-up today and he did awesome. He is 26 inches long and weighs 17 lbs 4 oz. He is in the 90th percentile for everything.
I think today was the best day he has ever had! He woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed just jabbering away and kept talking all day long, he even broke out in spontaneous laughter this evening and it was so freaking cute. The doctor said that we could start a little cereal when we were ready and since the in laws are in town we thought we'd try some tonight. Best case scenario he sleeps a little better, worst case is he doesn't and we hold off a while longer. These pictures don't do justice to how excited he was to eat food. It was like he has been waiting his whole life to munch on some cereal, he would start shaking as soon as he saw the spoon and lunge forward to get it in his mouth faster. Both sets of grandparents got to be here for it, which was priceless because I don't think I could actually describe how funny he was.
