I thought I'd share a few of Henry's new tricks.
He can recognize the letter E and is constantly pointing it out when we are on walks. We can barely keep up with how many new words he has. He tries his best to repeat everything we say and says new words every day. He said giraffe, elephant, and animals for the first time this weekend. I swear at the grocery store he told Tim to "man up" haha. He loves cars, trucks, and especially buses. When we are walking he likes to wave hi to each bus that drives past us and most of the time the bus driver waves back to him. He can point out the color blue accurately. He can say red and green too but can't really point to something that is red or green. He still loves reading books and is able to sit still for longer and longer books. We've been going through the classic children's books lately, gotta love the library. Speaking of the library, he will sit in my lap for all of story time without getting fussy, but his favorite part is when they break out the shaker eggs and wiggle around making music. He is particular about music, he won't dance to just anything. His favorite song is ABC's and even though he can't really sing all the letters he sings the tune ALL DAY LONG. Henry loves to do chores. He "helps" me with the laundry and sweeping, but his favorite thing is feeding the dog. He runs to our room where her bowl is and brings it to Tim in the kitchen and then carries the full bowl back to our room for Nash. He also insists on telling Duncan, the goldfish, goodnight before naps and bedtime.
